Good machine. Smashes the wood like its nothing.
I cannot recommend it enough. Just got it together and split a few bits to see it operating, bloody brilliant cannot wait to get stuck into a big pile.

Awesome Machine
This log splitter works really well. It's actually something more than I expected. I've used hydraulic log splitter before but way too slow. I like the idea of this "kinetic way" of splitting, with the flywheels& rack system, the principle is easy to understand. I just need to keep feeding logs and splitting. Very efficient and impressive.
Wood splitter
So far my user experience has been quite good, has split all i can throw at it , no complaints at the moment. One improvement would be to add a Jockey Wheel for ease of movement
Purchase
very effective and splits forest red gum very easily. Not that easy to move around and a jockey wheel, ( if it could somehow fit into the design) would greatly improve that. Big plus for speed and performance.
